About
Elizabeth Jane Buczko, LMT ("EJ")
Trauma-Informed
Licensed Massage Therapist
I help people rediscover coherence.
Vision
A world where people experience themselves as safe, aligned, embodied beings.
Mission
My mission is to offer body-based care rooted in presence that supports safety, regulation, and self-trust, so people can experience themselves as coherent, embodied beings.
Values
Presence
- I prioritize attuned, embodied presence over technique, speed, or outcome.
- I work at a pace that allows me to remain regulated and responsive, trusting presence as a primary therapeutic resource.
Safety
- I orient toward nervous system safety as the foundation of healing.
- I avoid forcing, overriding, or pushing for release, and I respect the body’s timing and signals.
Consent & Agency
- Clients are active participants in their care.
- I invite choice, respect boundaries, and support clients in listening to and trusting their own embodied intelligence.
Coherence (Wholeness)
- I approach people as unified, intelligent, embodied beings.
- I do not fragment experience into mind versus body, symptom versus story, or practitioner versus client.
Integrity of Pace
- I value slowness, integration, and sustainability.
- I choose pacing that supports depth and ethical care rather than urgency or productivity.
Respect
- I meet each client without judgment, fixing, or agenda.
- I honor each person’s lived experience, capacity, and autonomy.
Ongoing Learning
- I remain curious, reflective, and committed to growth.
- I deepen my skills and understanding in service of presence rather than accumulation of techniques.
Goals
Client Experience Goals
- Clients consistently leave sessions with a greater sense of safety and internal coherence.
- Clients feel respected, listened to, and unrushed throughout the therapeutic process.
- Clients develop increased self-trust and attunement to their own embodied signals.
- Sessions support regulation rather than catharsis or forceful release.
Practice Sustainability Goals
- Build financial stability without overbooking or compressing sessions.
- Design my week to allow for integration, rest, and reflection.
- Offer work at a pace that is ethically aligned, rather than urgency-driven.
Evolution / Directional Goals
- Continue deepening skills related to presence, touch, and nervous system awareness.
- Clarify and refine a coherent treatment philosophy that reflects mind–body unity.
- Position the practice as part of a future-facing model of embodied care, even if the culture hasn’t caught up yet.
What I offer and why:
Everything I offer is designed to support nervous system regulation and heal the effects of unresolved stress and trauma.
Using Somatic Experiencing® (SE™), CranioSacral Therapy, intuitive insight, and body-based awareness, I help clients work with the deeper patterns their bodies are holding.
The goal is to restore regulation, rediscover coherence, and embody a greater sense of presence, agency and alignment in everyday life.
My work is especially supportive for those who feel stuck in patterns of stress, trauma, or disconnection, offering a safe and compassionate space to release what is no longer useful, and realign with their innate wholeness.
Curious where to begin?
I recommend starting with a treatment I designed that combines Somatic Experiencing® (SE™), CranioSacral Therapy, and intuitive reflection as a comfortable exploration into what will resonate for you as a unique individual, with a unique history, needs and goals.

A little more about me

Passion & Purpose
For me, becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist was simply the opening to becoming a nervous system and trauma healing practitioner. I hold a deeply profound reverence for working with individuals as they heal physical, emotional and energetic imbalances to come back into connection and alignment with their authentic self.

Trained in Costa Rica
I went to massage school in Sámara, Costa Rica at the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy (CRSMT). In addition to bodywork, anatomy & physiology, kinesiology (and many other courses), I learned the “art” of massage and how to connect deeply with people in my care. I am forever transformed by my experience at CRSMT, and I bring those experiences with me into each and every session with my clients.

Core Beliefs
I believe that we are each our own healer. Our bodies have a natural impulse toward health, and they hold the wisdom to know what is needed to come back into coherence and wellbeing. And sometimes we need support.
